Reuse content for all social platforms without a team

Here are some tips on how to reuse your content so you can be on all of the social platforms without a team to help you. I have been a content creator for a very long time, 12 years actually, and I know that if I want to build a strong brand, I have to be on all of the social platforms. But this is kind of impossible if you are the only person that needs to run all of these platforms. You need to create content that is relevant to each one and modify it so it will find the true fans of your brand. But let’s be real. If you are going to create text content, to make it relevant to all of the platforms, it is going to be a bit hard. Here are some tips:

1. Even if you don’t have time to manage all of the platforms, you should open a business account on each of them. On Facebook, you need to create a page, and it is also a good idea to create a group because if you blow up, you can get copycats. And if you don’t have an account on some platforms, it will be hard for you to open it on your brand name if someone else did it before you. So always open accounts, even if you are not going to post anything. You have tutorials on how to open a business account on all of the platforms on my YouTube channel.

2. Choose one and only one platform that you are focused on and that you are going to create content for. For me, it is YouTube. I create videos and text content that is suitable for YouTube. But then whatever is right for other platforms, I also post it there without changing the content. I know that this does not grow my other accounts, but it is putting there some content, so if someone is finding this account, he can find some content on it.

3. Buy a domain with your brand; this is also crucial even if you are not going to open this website. Just make a simple WordPress website, and you can create only the homepage that can be the page with all of your social media links. One day when you do have more time, you already have the domain, and no one can steal it from you. It is also good for later to build your email list. The best option for building a website is using your domain and your hosting, so when you buy both of them, just don’t make the purchase on the same website. And always build a WordPress website. It might look more complicated than other options available today, but this is the most flexible option for you. You can have all the functions you want with WordPress without the need to pay for different services. And I mean it. You can have your landing pages, automation, email list, posts, courses, store, forum, or whatever you want this website to develop. But first, just make this website and don’t worry about the other things. If you are a true content creator, you will need that eventually.

4. Now is the time to find out how to make one piece of content and spread it everywhere. So if you are going to make YouTube your priority like I do, create videos and also create community posts. It has grown my channel in ways I never imagined, even when it looks like no one reads these posts. So now you have two kinds of content.

5. Take the text you wrote and publish it on all of the other social media. The way I do it is with SocialBee, a tool that helps me publish content on all of social media, that way, I upload the content only there, and it posts the content for me. Texts I post on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and Twitter. I usually also add some images to the YouTube post so I have it for the other social media. I don’t change the sizes of the images because I don’t have time for this. But if you do have time for this, it can help you get more attention. So I upload the image from YouTube to all of the platforms with the text. For Pinterest, I need to make it shorter, and I always have to have a link with the post. And for Twitter – X, I need to make it way shorter, so I get some help with ChatGPT and make it shorter.

6. If you have vertical short videos that you put on YouTube, then you can also publish them on all of the other social media platforms. I prefer to focus on long-form videos, and because I use a lot of screenshots, it is hard to make short vertical videos from them. So, I don’t do that. But if you have short videos, you can also use SocialBee to upload all of the content for you.

7. Next, the best thing is to schedule the content in a way that it will not be published on all of the platforms at the same time. So, SocialBee can help you with this too. What I like most about SocialBee that I didn’t see on many other social publishing software is that they have an option to recycle the content. So, you can create content and after a few months, publish it again. It is very useful for social media where you need always fresh content, and they don’t like to show your old content to the users.
